Entice tourists and locals to Orchard Road Precinct as a satellite site for all things race-related in celebration of Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) 2022.

Approach

We understood that GPSS 2022 was to be a vibrant and immersive 10-day celebration enveloping the city with a wide range of motorsport-themed programmes during the race season in Singapore.

As the appointed organiser and programmer of GPSS 2022, we created a vibrant festive space at Orchard Road Precinct with exciting F&B offerings, exclusive retail experiences and immersive lifestyle pop-ups that enhanced the race season's excitement, drove consumer spend, and generated more awareness for GPSS amongst locals and tourists.

Visitors experienced a medley of race-themed pop-ups at Singapore’s most famous shopping district along Orchard walkway. They were thrilled by interactive activities in front of Ngee Ann City and Mandarin Gallery.

We celebrated local at Design Orchard, curating a vibrant retail experience featuring specially commissioned GPSS merchandise. Visitors witnessed an exhibit featuring dolls dressed in designer fashion made from everyday recycled objects, all in the name of sustainability.

At *SCAPE, visitors got to marvel at larger-than-life cardboard sculptures, attended dance masterclasses and participated in family-friendly sustainability workshops. Visitors also got to experience the thrill of racing in one-of-a-kind immersive race simulators.

Dance performances and fitness classes drew crowds to the Youth Park at Somerset Belt. Local artists were featured in a series of race-themed murals and visitors got an opportunity to take photos with a 10-metre-long inflatable installation.
